CONTEXT
Our strategy ?Realising Rights for Women and Children: ActionAid
Ireland Strategy **Apply on the website**? places fundraising at the
heart of our work in Ireland and commits us to diversify channels and
increase unrestricted income. In **Apply on the website**, ActionAid
Ireland will finalise the organisational strategy for the next 5-year
period ? a strategy which will see ActionAid?s investment in
fundraising grow significantly and which puts Digital fundraising at
its core in delivering ambitious offline and online growth plans. We
have a bold 5-year plan for growth in both the size and engagement of
our loyal supporter base, as well as delivering on income targets.
This is a new role, and an exciting time to be joining a small but
powerful team who are motivated by the women, girls and communities we
work with and driven by the results we achieve as a team.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
_STRATEGY_
* Work closely with the Head of Fundraising to develop the new
Digital Fundraising Strategy in line with existing digital targets
* Work collaboratively across the Fundraising department,
Communications & Campaigns department, to assess ActionAid Ireland?s
digital capabilities and identify opportunities to improve all SEO
strategy across all areas of ActionAid Ireland?s work
* Develop cases for digital change and investment that demonstrate
clear ROI and key indicators of digital performance
* Further develop, through close working with the Head of
Fundraising, and the Campaigns and Programme teams, existing financial
and lead based social marketing campaigns across all social channels
(FB, Instagram etc.)
* Devise, implement and manage ActionAid Ireland?s procurement of
a new digital agency as well as manage ongoing supplier relationships
to deliver agreed targets
* Set up and management of all ActionAid Ireland?s paid search
* Horizon scan, identify best practice and trend insights from the
sector and beyond to allow AAIre to innovate
_LEADERSHIP_
* Line management of Digital Campaigns Executive (**Apply on the
website**% FTE)
* To support the Head of Fundraising in promoting collaborative and
ambitious digital Leadership to the fundraising team
* Actively engage with and contribute to digital skill-sharing of
the Fundraising team
* Act as ActionAid Ireland?s Digital Ambassador across the
Federation, working on key cross organisational projects and
international working groups
* Build effective and mutual working relationships with other
counterparts across the wider international organisation
* Ensure appropriate systems, processes and standards are in place
to realise the organisation?s digital objectives and ensure the
organisation is fully compliant and meets best practice standards
_FUNDRAISING_
* Grow online committed giving income and achieve supporter
acquisition in line with agreed Fundraising targets
* Review, assess and optimise current tracking and back-end
processes across all digital platforms
* Support the Individual Giving Manager in delivering integrated
end-to-end user journeys, across online and offline platforms
* Build and deliver effective testing across all digital fundraising
based on insight and analysis of campaigns
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE
_ESSENTIAL_
* 5+ years devising and implementing successful digital acquisition
strategies
* Demonstrable experience of developing and delivering successful
acquisition social marketing campaigns (FB, Insta.) and SEO (PPC,
Display etc.)
* High proficiency in all core digital marketing platforms
(Analytic, AdWords etc.)
* Proven track record of managing successful acquisition PPC
* Competent user of WordPress
* Proven ability to deliver innovation across a fundraising
portfolio
* Completed recent relevant education and training
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work flexibly in
a small and brilliant team
_DESIRABLE_
* Experience in preparing and managing budgets and accounting for
plans and budgets
* Experience of working in Non-profit organisation/s, ideally within
a Fundraising context
* Competent in creating create short videos and creative assets
using production and design tool software
* Knowledge of Raiser?s Edge
* Knowledge and experience in the International Development sector
